Vacation




It has been so much lovely things to do the last weeks, I have colored so many of these chrochet cloths, drawn some new cutepies (gullegrisar?) and many other things.
Now it’s time to take the ferry to Gotland and be there for a month. Just take it easy, go by bicycle, reading thrillers, take a walk or just take a nap. Have a nice time all of you, see you in August.

Exactly one year ago



We crossed over “The Norwegian mountain plateau”, called "Hardangervidda”. It was beautiful grey and chilly to walk with naked feet in the snow on midsummer.

When our first child was 9 years old, he acted in a school play.
We where there, all the big family and many friends.
In the end he entered the scene for a second.
I will never forget it.

Busy weekend




May is so short, isn’t?! There are so many things to keep up with, and I feel a little bit in stress. The clay things have so many different moments...

Åren går, barnen flyttar hemifrån och rummen byter funktion och skepnad. Fick sådan lust att göra en utställning härhemma (27 – 31 maj) innan vi möblerar tomrummet! Jag påminner väl mer om detta när det närmar sig…

Little people
Times goes by, the children grow up and move away from home. The function and the shape of the room are changed. There will be an exhibition here at home before we furnish the empty space.
I will tell more about this later.

Look what I have got

It took rather long time until I started to do comments on the blogs of others. I was both shy and uncertain and scared
for expressing myself in English. (there are plenty of mistakes but it doesn’t matter)
Esti was one of them who encouraged me to try. She is so generous and supporting and creative in her thoughts. It is always fun to look at her blog – she delivers post almost every day!
Now I have her book with drawings and words in my hand.
I really like it – Thanks a lot!

April - It’s a good month

Easter is over a week ago, but it’s hard to say goodbye to such wonderful friends.

I don’t do anything peculiar right now, just working with small things that take much time, you know – listening to the radio, roll out and paint my clay cakes…

I regularly follow Andrea Tachezy’s inspiring and beautiful blog. Now her rabbits have travelled in several different ways (by cars, buses, planes …?) and finally they arrived here in my postbox. I love snailmail!

Have you met Tabaimo? She makes hundreds of drawings, which she scans in and processes digitally into animations.
Her film “ Midnight sea” is my favorite. I feel totally embraced, it touches my soul.
And the little book “The astrounaut who was not aloud to land” by Bea Uusma Schyffert (Astronauten som inte fick landa).
It’s about to be, space, longing, loneliness.
I recommend!

Just walk around, looking at the town… visiting flea markets, museums and other places.
Thoughts about now and then… Drinking coffee and enjoying new founds.
And every evening spend time with people that I really love.
